$150,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Milwaukee
MADISON, Wis. -- Check your Lottery tickets, Milwaukee! Ali Petroleum, located on 5706 W. Bluemound Rd., sold a winning $150,000 Powerball ticket for the Monday, September 28, 2026, drawing. The winning ticket matched four of five numbers (17-21-29-42-49) and the Powerball (7).
While the standard prize for matching four white balls and the Powerball is $50,000, this lucky ticket included the $1 Power Play. Thanks to the 3X multiplier, the $50,000 win ballooned into a $150,000 prize.
Regulars at Ali Petroleum know this neighborhood fixture is no stranger to big wins. The gas station's Lottery track record includes selling a winning $30,000 scratch ticket and a $113,000 Badger 5 jackpot in recent years.
Wisconsin Lottery retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive a two percent Retailer Performance Winning Ticket Incentive, up to $100,000.
Players have 180 days from the draw date to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available at wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.
Powerball drawings are Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 9:59 p.m. Tickets must be purchased before 9:00 p.m. to be included in a drawing. Powerball tickets are $2 per play.
The estimated Powerball jackpot for the Wednesday drawing is $409 million.
The odds to win the Powerball jackpot are 1:292,201,338 while the odds to win a $50,000 Powerball prize are 1:913,130. With the $1 Power Play option, the odds of a 3X multiplier being drawn last night were 1:3.3.
